Xiaomi MI-3 Review and Giveaway

Hearing the name of this Chinese smart phone for the first time? Think it's another waste of money? I don't know what you are thinking, but you will be in love with Xiaomi MI-3 after reading this.

Looks:

It has a five inch IPS LCD capacitive screen and weighs 145 grams. Its size stands between a smart phone and a phablet. The sides of the phone are curved and rounded. Xiaomi MI-3 is made up of plastic, but it has a look of an aluminium body and it is solid. 

The Operating System:

Xiaomi MI-3 has customized Android 4.2.1 jelly bean. Even though it has Android, it has an Apple iOS interference. The user friendly interference stands alone. The phone has some cool features that the other doesn't have. It has built-in call recording facilities that work on Android with third-party applications. The most interesting thing is that it has a guest mode! Don't think I am telling about a PC, it's a smart phone man!

The Guest mode allows us to hide call  history, messages, pictures and launcher settings. You can automatically record all the calls or set the list of numbers to be recorded.

Camera:

The Chinese phone has a  13 Megapixel  camera with dual LED flash light and it is powered by Sony Exmor sensor. Otherl features are touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization etc. A long press on volume button can start rapid shooting. However the phone lacks a camera button.

Features:

Other features are Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. The phone has A-GPS support too. The phone offers 42 Mbps speed in DC-HSDPA, 21 Mbps speed in HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps in HSUPA. Bad luck, the phone doesn't have 4G.

Conclusion:

In overall the phone is good. The phone cost less than $450. You will be surprised that its competitors are Sony Xperia Z1, LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. How to Convert Photo to Sketch in Google Chrome?

Everyone loves playing with photos and I am not an exception. I twist the photo, apply filters and make it stunning. When I was searching for photography apps in the chrome store (I want everything stuff in my browser so that I don't need to go to anywhere else!)  I found this cool app-Photo To Cartoon.

It is a simple app where we just need to upload images and the app will convert the photograph into an awesome sketch. Here is a step by step guide to convert your image into a sketch:

1. Install Photo To Cartoon extension from Chrome Store.
2. Open the app after installing it.
3. Click on the upload photo button and select the photo you want to change into a sketch.
4. Wait for some time while the app process the image.
5. After that you will see the preview of the image. You can change the color level, smoothness and edge size using the menu at the top of the preview.
6. Set the color level and sort of things like that and press the apply button.
7. If you are satisfied with the image, press the save button

Tada! Your sketch is ready.

Although it provides a good interference to work,it is stuffed with ads. Also the image processing is slow. Download this cool app from the Chrome Store.

How to post a poll/survey in Google+?

What will you do if you want to post a survey or poll in Google+? No idea, you will not fnd an option to post a poll question in Google+ by default. What you have to do is to follow these three simple steps:

• Sign in to your Google+ account and post your poll question in the status update window.
• Post each of your option as different comments under your question.
• Disable the comment for that post and users can choose their option by the +1 button to each option. The only problem with this trick is that users can choose multiple option.

LG Optimus G

A new member came to the LG Optimus Family- ’LG Optimus G E973’, after the Optimus Vu. It comes with 4G to compete with Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple Iphone 5. Its dimension is 131.9x68.9x8.5 mm which means it is a slim phone. Its weight is 145g.

Display:

Like most of the smartphones, it is also a touchscreen phone. It has True HD touchscreen + LCD, which improves the quality of the screen of Optimus G. LG uses the Optimus v3.0 technology in multitouch to improve the users experience.

CPU:
Like other smartphones in its range, it has a microSD support of 32GB. It has Quad-Core 1.5 GHz which will provide a good speed.

Data:
It has 2G internet connectivity like GPRS and EDGE, 3G internet connectivity features like HSDPA and HSUPA and the high speed 4G LTE. It is also provided with Wi-Fi 802.11 and Wi-Fi hotspot. Its built in browser supports HTML5 and Adobe Flash will provide users a good experience to browse the web. It is assured that users will be satisfied with the connectivity of the phone.

Operating System:

If we talk about the advantages of LG Optimus G over LG Optimus Vu we can say the main feature as 4G. Another improvement is made over the CPU. Optimus Vu use 1.3Ghz CPU while Optimus G use 1.5Ghz CPU. Its camera has also improved. In the previous version they use 8 megapixel camera. Now they use 13 megapixel camera in Optimus G. Optimus Vu was using Stereo FM Radio with RDS and it is replaced by TBD radio. Optimus Vu doesn't has an external memory support. But Optimus G has external memory support up to 32GB.

TRICK 1: 
For this trick you need Adobe Acrobat 8.

• Open the webpage you want to download.
• Click on the file button in menu bar.
• Select Print option.
• You can see Adobe Acrobat in the printers list.
• Select it and you can download the webpage as PDF.

TRICK 2 :

• Click on 'save as' button from menu bar.
• A dialog box will appear that ask you to select the file location and file name. After giving your desired name to the file add '.pdf' in the end without quotes.
• You can download the webpage as PDF for free
